Album Review: Kele, Kylie and The

Kele is perhaps known for his punk band Bloc Party whose known to have a distinct hard sound blending dance music with punk. On his solo debut The Boxer Kele goes deeper into the dance sound, like previous Bloc Party remix albums, boxer is not convntional dance music nor is it anywhere near traditional pop music. The album is leaded by the fantastic lead single "Tenderoni", which captives all the senses with pure hard hitting synths. Only flaw is that it's sometimes hard to understand what he says on a few tracks.

The acclaimed queen of pop outside of America Kylie Minogue has released her 11th studio album Aphrodite, following three years after her mega popular and very sexually ecentric tenth album X this album explores her into a deeper, free and more loving dance record. Excutive produced by Stuart Price who made Madonna's 2005 hit album and best piece of work to date shows Kylie's more loving side to the world. Hence the album being named after the God of Love herself.

Pharrell's first attempt at scoring a film manages to prove to be quite successful this nine piece set features 5 solo Pharrell songs and apperances by Robin Thicke, Lupe Fiasco and more. Most of the songs are quite cool typical pop music but the standout records are the Pharrell songs they're a far cry from the mediocrity of his debut album. The Despicable me film is in theaters now.
