With our increased reportage these past months on Italian luxury brand Trussardi, you might have noticed that we are more than excited about the developments in recent seasons over there. 2011 the brand celebrates its 100th anniversary. It impresses us every time when a brand with such history manages to enter the ‘cool’ again, and that sometimes simply by adding the right creative director who understands translating the heritage and signature of the brand into the future.
We have seen some great projects from Trussardi this year for their 100th anniversary. The most interesting were for us the BMW 5 Series Gran Turismo and the Trussardi MY Design furniture collection. Next up is a new limited edition pair of sunglasses.

Limited to 750 pieces, the hand made camouflage sunglasses come with an embossed serial number and are presented in a luxurious leather camouflage case, including a certificate. The sunglasses will release June 2011, priced at 590 Euros, and will be available at concept stores around the globe, as well as the
