Beyonce and Jay-Z celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary in Cuba this past week, accompanied by their mothers and a ridiculous amount of bodyguards. The two reportedly had a wonderful time, but some are angered by the power couple's decision to spend the anniversary in Cuba. Cuba has a reputation for oppression and poverty, so soaking up the sun and drinking cocktails next to political madness was bothersome to select people. Mauricio Claver-Carone spoke to TMZ about the issue and said, "There are women getting beaten on a daily basis, women who are jailed for no reason...people are fighting for their freedom. It's extremely insensitive." Since Cuban tourism is banned for Americans, Bey and Jay had to obtain a special visa to visit. How they got that? Who knows. But regardless, it looks like the two stars had a special week and even spent some time with the kids.
