The Ska Band is facing backlash because of what many are calling racist overtones associated with the video. I personally feel that it's nothing racist about it and in fact Gwen is looking damn good in the Native American attire. As a person of Native American Descent (Guaymi to be exact) they do nothing as harmful as portraying many Native American stereotypes seen in media of the past, present or Future. We need to quit thinking every time a person portrays a costumed stereotype of what they only know taking it as racism, because in the end not only does the common American place stereotypes and racist light on others we do it to ourselves.
