Fresh Feature: The Real Rihanna

For years I understood the hype around this girl and I was never impressed. Even back in 07/08 when she did Umbrella she was a dull bore. I don’t think she’s much of a singer, she can’t dance for shit and she’s quite cold and stuffy in the personality department. She never matched her music imo. She’s a complete bitch and it never reflected on her 1st, 2nd, 3rd. Or upcoming 5th album. All those albums were bubbly and very feminine which when you look at any incarnation of Fenty she always displayed a cold snooty bitch ala Cruella Deville. But she won me over last year when she dropped the ever depressing Russian Roulette, possibly the best vocal performance she’s ever given. The she perceeded with the album Rated R which was filled with dark occult themes and cold emotion and beats that were so hard I could hear the toughest rapppers on. This by far is her best work as an artist even her image was on point. Her team is incredible ( I am for certain she has zero input on her music or image), they didn’t drop the ball on any of her relases from this record. I even bought the sexed up depressed record, however sadly, this era was cut short on behalf of the incoming italo-disco craze that struck right around the time RR was released so the rushed the album in effort for her to keep up with everyone else by releasing the very generic and bland “Only Girl”. Maybe Satan will posses her again and the Rated R Fenty will strike back and terrorize ya’lls neighborhoods.
