Kobra is a conscious rapper from Orlando, FL who utilizes interesting rhyme schemes and multiple rhyme patterns in order to portray his message in each songs. He has a feel that is reminiscent of what hip hop used to be, what hip hop should be. In songs like Life In Paradise, Kobra rides a smooth, laid back hip hop track to explain his carefree, joyous life. It is real classic sounding track. In tracks like Guess Who, he challenges other MCs to try him on the microphone while boasting and using different rhyme schemes to show his lyricism. In Til The Day Ends, Kobra borrows from the late Michael Jackson’s classic “Human Nature” track to deliver a chill, summer anthem. Kobra is currently working on his mixtape “1 in a Million”. I definitely anticipate hearing it and you should be on the lookout for it.
