I made another interesting discovery last weekend,Tokyo Diiva. I don't remember how I discovered her but I did see an outrageous Kelis/Bjork inspired myspace default and decided to give her a listen. Turns out I've heard her before, every tuesday on oxygen for about 2 years while watching the hot mess known as the bad girls club, She contributed the theme song "Bad Girls" turns out she doesn't even watch the show. So while scoping her out and listening to more records by her she gave me and eclectic mix of Flirty Hip-Pop ala Fergie/Uffie with a tast of rock and retro hipster glamour, in fact she calls her sound "Glam-Pop". But if her cutesy girly girl music doesn't catch you're attention her firecracker fashion and adorable personality will make you really dig her.
