Understanding: Lady Gaga

In two short years Stefani Germanotta went from GoGo dancing disco queen, to Multimedia Icon know as Lady Gaga. I'm taking you on a journey from her beginings to how and possibly why she became this well oiled machine

Spring of 2008, Terry told me about an old classmate of his by the name of Colby O'Donis had just signed to Akon's Konvict Music label.

I proceeded to look into Colby thinking maybe I'll find something that'll probably make me become a fan, and honestly I didn't find shit. I did however stumbled across a song he did with another no named singer by the name of Lady Gaga, the song was'Just Dance' an electro pop number about being the drunk girl at the party. My first intial impression of the song and this whole Lady Gaga Character was Kylie and Madonna did it already. Not even paying attention to the lyrical content a few weeks passed since I heard the song, nor did I even remember it let alone this Gaga character. Then I heard a leak from her album that had my heart thumping the track was called "Boys Boys Boys", it had a heavy metal twist to a typical electro pop song. I was in heavy so I decided to give this Gaga a look, I did my research and found out she and I had similar backgrounds, we both began using fake I.D.

around our early teens to party, we had a love for celebrity and fame and we both were obsessed with art. Even though on paper we are much a like we had our differences, so I could just latch on to her just yet, that was until I saw a promo for the show 'dirty sexy money' and heard her son beautiful, dirty, rich what got me was the "BANG BANG" it added an element of cool to her music and I became more relaxed with her.

By the time her album 'the fame' had been released in Canada it surfaced along the Internet and I downloaded it, coming to the realization that this chick is going to be huge pretty soon so I better start liking her now before everyone else annoys my sweet carcus with their cheap imitations and off key singing 'just dance'. By the time it was released in October in the states no one has still heard of her. So I did my part, playing te album in my car showing YouTube videos on myspace and facebook to friends, even as far as covering "Brown Eyes" on YouTube ( but thanks to brainwashed Britney fans it got removed after a comment I left about her).

Since then she's went from this stary eyed girl from the upper east side to thus creepy chick. Honestly it's been a big turn off she's dominated the world and corrupt the minds of the world youth (new world order maybe?). Tho she's as talented as ever her star once bright is starting to dull, I honestly wish her te best but she's spreading her self way to thin.
