Album Review: Robyn "Body Talk pt. 1"

It's been nearly 5 years since Sweedish Pop phenom Robyn released her superior self titled album, that earned her accolades across the globe.
She has since been in the studio working on the long awaited follow up, "Body Talk" which is a series of three albums. The album starts off with the sassy " Don't Fucking Tell Me What To Do" which will keep would be a delightfully outrageous video a few songs down the line is the dub/ragga single "Dancehall Queen" which kind of mellow out the fun electro album. Another notable song is the song originally thought to be the first single "Fembot" which plays upon Robyn's child like demenor.
Closing the album is the accoustic number "Hang With You" and the sweedish "Jag Vet En Dejlig Rosa" (I think).
Overall the album isn't as genius as her last but, it's cute and can appeal to a younger audience and is full of fun and life, basically worth the wait.

4.5/5

Available June 7 2010
"Dancehall Queen", "Fembot" and "None Of Dem" are available now on digital outlets.
