albums I'm anticipating this year

I've haven't had any anticipation for any album within the past three years with the exception of Gaga's last release. To be honest the music industry in my oppinion has gone to shit and with the albums released so far this year it looks like we have 10 more years ahead of us with lackluster music. But with these upcoming releases it doesn't all look to bleak.

Kelis "Flesh Tone" ( will.i.am music group/interscope)

Staging a comeback is a hard feat to accomplish, with these younger girls straight jacking your style, a public divorce and being hated on by your own people. But alternative r&b/dance artist Kelis seems to not let it get to her, she says she was inspired to make a new album after the birth of her son Knight last July. The 8 song is her first album to feature an entire dance/house direction a concept she's flirted with on her last few albums. This is also the 2nd album to feture no production by her long time collaborators The Neptunes (the first was her last album 2006's Kelis was Here). Her first single "Acapella" has already hit #1 on the billboard dance charts.
You can download "Acapella" on iTunes and her fifth album "Flesh Tones" is available May 17.

Kenna "Songs For Flight" TBA 2010

Another Neptunes alumni Ethiopian born Kenna has been flying under the radar for almost 10 years now, but I honestly feel it's worth it. He's released two critically acclaimed albums and was nominated for a Grammy. He's recently caught public knowledge after climbing mt. Kilimanjaro with Jessica Biel and Lupe Fiasco to fight the clean water crisis in the world. He's now ready to release his 3rd album aptly titled "Songs For Flight" due out later this year.
You can help Kenna's cause for by downloading his single "Turn" off iTunes all procedes go to summit on the summit. You can also download the hope for Haiti soundtrack which features him, lupe fiasco and many other artist.

Kelly Rowland TBA

After having arguably the biggest summer smash of last year a Grammy and leaving the knowles clan. Things are looking up for Kelly, after years of mediocre hits and sales stateside people have already stuck a fork in Kelly's career. But after her success in the dance Market people have been wondering what she's coming up with next. She left Columbia records, got new management and signed to universal motown and has been pitting in work on the club Market and the with heavy hitters, like Ne-Yo, Brian Kennedy, Danja and of course David Guetta. Her third studio album is set to hit stores this summer

Robyn "Body Tale" spring 2010

It's been 5 years since she released her emponyous self titled album. Now she's back with a three part album due for spring, summer and winter 2010. The first song leaked titled "No Hassle ( dancehall queen)" and it's a smash.

Uffie "Sex,Dreams and Denim Jeans" Summer 2010

I'm not impressed with this united smuts of America movment but it's something about Uffie that stands out she talks about partying and unlike Ke$ha her music is directed to adults and late teens than to Tweens. Her single "Pop The Glock" has captivated worldwide clubs and made her a name through out the night scene.
Uffie's official first single "MC's Can Kiss" is available on iTunes now.

B.o.B aka Bobby Ray "B.o.B. Presents the adventures of Bobby Ray" April 17

It's rare to find an MC who plays instruments, produces his own material and sings. Bobby Ray does just that he's been a favorite on the mixtape and Internet circuit for years now and is finally releasing his debut album. With his single "Nothin On You" already in the top 20 he's sure to be the next big thing for this new decade
You can download "Nothin On You" on iTunes now

Wynter Gordon "With The Music I Die" Summer 2010

With her debut single "Dirty Talk" buzzing around the web and club scene Wynter is on the road to becoming a big star. She recently told me via Twitter that her album is more than an album it's an experience. She's been doing club performances to promote the single.
You can download Dirty Talk on iTunes.

Mickey Factz TBA 2010

Another fvorite mixtape artist I like is slated to drop his debut album this year.

Petrøs X "Glamourlesst Life" 2010

You know I just had to throw this in lol. I been working on this project on and off for quite sometime now and I've gotten all the songs ready for release.
The first single off my album is scheduled for a summer release on iTunes album later this year.
